What is TMEC?
The Tobacco Marijuana & E-Cigarettes Course (TMEC) was developed by Certified Prevention Specialists in partnership with law enforcement, schools, treatment, and medical professionals in Oregon. TMEC was launched in 2017 to teach youth and adults ages 13 and above the facts about marijuana.
The curriculum has been revised and CLEAR Alliance is releasing the new 2019 TMEC revision.
Who is encouraged to attend?
Educators, Curriculum Directors, Law Enforcement, DREs, SROs, Prevention Coordinators, Coalition Coordinators, Treatment Providers, Parents and Teens.
Which training should I attend?
If you are interested in just viewing the TMEC program, register for the TMEC Presentation from 8am-12pm ($50 fee). If you’d like to be trained as an Instructor to provide TMEC in your community, register for the TMEC Instructor Training from 8am-5pm ($400 fee includes training, curriculum kit, and the “Did You Know?” ads in PDF to print or share with your community).
