Victim Impact Panel

Hear real stories from those impacted by impaired driving. A powerful session to inspire change and responsible choices.

The CLEAR Alliance Victim Impact Panel (VIP) program is a court ordered class intended to help impaired drivers understand the devastating and long-term effects resulting from substance-impaired driving. The classes encourage empathy and understanding of the real-life tragedies caused when a person drives after consuming drugs, alcohol, or other impairing substances. The class is meant to leave a lasting impression that touches hearts and minds and effect change by encouraging responsible behavior. At our VIP, victims, survivors, and others impacted by substance-impaired driving crashes share their personal experiences about the loss of a loved one, injuries suffered in a crash, or other traumatic effects. The class is a judgment free and safe space for speakers to share these experiences and for attendees to hear their messages. Check-in for class will be in the first-floor lobby.

  • All attendees must show photo ID. If pre-registered, bring your confirmation—either printed or displayed on your phone or device.
  • Even if pre-registered, arrive for check-in at 4:30 p.m. Check-in closes at 4:55 p.m. to allow time for all attendees to be processed, and class starts promptly at 5:00.
  • We highly recommend pre-registering and pre-paying to guarantee your seat. Pay online with a card or on-site. ONLY cashier’s checks or money orders accepted on-site.
  • At the end of the class, you will be given a copy of your VIP receipt/certificate for the court.
